UNESCO celebrate the International Literacy Day on 8th September of every year to overcome the illiteracy problem because We can witness that all those countries which have high illiteracy rate are facing too many problems like terrorism, high crime rates and poor economy. The major reason in the destruction and downfall of a country is high illiteracy rate that’s why every country is trying to overcome this problem by building new schools, colleges and universities in every corner of state. The worldwide literacy data shows that the illiteracy is high in females than males this is due to lack of awareness and lack of opportunities. In short we can say that it is education which can make or destroy a country so we should take and give knowledge to each other.
